Welcome To Our Nova Scotia!
Well, we have been here in Dartmouth, Nova
Scotia since July 2006. We are getting used to the laid back, unrushed way of
life; which I have to admit is a nice change of pace. The girls are loving it
here and so are Guy and I. There are so many things to do here: museums,
festivals, beaches (ocean and lake), tours, boat rides, whale watching, and
that's just a few of them! We have had something to do every weekend since we've
been here. We just pack a picnic and take a short ride to wherever something is
happening. We are only a 10 minute ride to the ferry or one of two bridges that
takes us to Halifax.... Which is an absolutely beautiful city. (But so is
Dartmouth, for that fact!).
Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures with you all, so you
can see just how beautiful it is here in the HRM as they call it. (Halifax
Regional Municipality). I would recommend that if you ever get the chance to
come out here, please do... and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wonderful,
friendly people! Enjoy the pictures!
P.S. The lighthouse is at Peggy's Cove, where Swiss Air
Flight 111 went down and the wonderful people of the small fishing town opened
up their hearts and homes for the families of that tragic accident.
